Save the Dates for MN River Valley Master Plan Open House

Save the Dates for MN River Valley Master Plan Open House
Please save the dates 9/27 or 9/28 for a public workshop to discuss opportunities to expand outdoor recreation and conserve natural & cultural resources in the Minnesota River Valley (MRV) area within Redwood and Renville Counties. This project also seeks to strengthen and diversify the local economy while respecting private lands and heritage of the region. Minnesota Department of Natural Resources, Redwood and Renville Counties are collaborating to create the first MRV Recreation and Conservation Master Plan. We’re very interested in your ideas and participation!

Workshop objectives include:
Introduce the project
Share and discuss preliminary master plan solutions
Listen to and record your ideas and opinions

We’ll have displays, maps, comment forms, and handouts for you to learn more about the project area. The same workshop will held on two consecutive days. If you’re not able to attend one of the workshops in person, all workshop materials will be available on the project webpage. An online survey will also be distributed after the workshop to request additional input and your ideas.

Workshop Times and Locations
·        Tuesday, September 27 , evening (TBD) in Olivia at the Government Offices Bldg, Rm 117
·        Wednesday, September 28, evening (TBD) in Redwood Falls, Community Center, Rm #1
